ABC Animals - Your Alphabet Letters Mini Adventure Examine App

I bought this app because Mini Adventures - Let's Go has not been updated to support iOS7. The app has a feature that allows you to customize (add/delete/edit) your own catergories and videos, which was the MAIN reason I purchases the app. However whenever I want to customize (add) anything the app completely locks up and is not responsive. Unless this is fixes I basically threw my money away. Would be 5 stars if this worked.

It is really an educative application. My child loves it.

The best part of this app was the video. It gave information that the students were interested in listening to. Now without the videos it's just pictures of animals with the name of the animal written on it. No point to the app anymore. With video it's a 4 star app.

This app was recently updated and instead of making it better the app got worse. The videos are gone so the educational value is now minimal and you can no longer tap a letter of the animal being viewed to automatically scroll to a new animal. Until these changes are added back we won't be using this app.

I used to love his app, but now the videos are gone! Without the videos I don't even open the app. Please fix this.

The animals app is amazing.

Absolutely wonderful. My granddaughter and I watched the videos on the different animals for almost 1 hour. I can't wait to share this app with the students I work with. Thank you for this 5 star app.

I work with students who are blind and visually impaired--and this is truly an awesome app that they can use with their peers. Sound, enlarged text, real and simple pictures with isolated single shots of described animal....can't think to make it any better. THANKYOU!!!

My son is very upset as now NONE of the videos are playing.

Used to love this AP but the videos have become inappropriate at times. Please edit!! Cannot recommend to anyone with children due to this. Unfortunate.

Our 2 year old absolutely loves this app. Asks to see the videos all the time. He's learned them all by name.

There are videos within this app that contain swear words!!! ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE for an app created for young children! My daughter picked up the "s" word from watching a video of a kudo bull. Seriously...at least screen your videos first!!!!! I am embarrassed for this company.

The videos are all utube films and some are very poor quality.

Alligator apps are on to something. This app and the similar music adventure app are just fabulous. The ability to customize these apps is the best. I'm a huge fan and recommend these apps highly. I was a Montessori preschool teacher for 12 years pre-internet; and I only wish we had resources like this available. Get this app.

I'm using this app for my k-1 students for handwriting practice. When they spell the animal forming the letters correctly we watch the video as a reward. This is customizable which is amazing. Good job on this one!!

Lots of great pics. Some videos aren't great, but that does take too much away from them app.

This app is easy to use, and my students really enjoy seeing such a wide variety of animals. i like how in the settings you have choices for different photos and videoes of the animals. it is such a great product!

My son really loves this app. And any app he loves I love. He loves watching the videos of animals.

Our toddler loves this app and prefers it over videos. It parallels a trip to the zoo. Thanks a million to its creators.

My "non verbal" autistic son absolutely adores this ap. He is 3,almost 4. He has started to say the words for his favorite videos on here...frog, octopus, bear.....This is so incredible!!!!! My 5 year old daughter also loves this. This ap gets used every single day at our house. I very much enjoy the videos with them and I also find myself learning. Excellent choice of videos!! I could NEVER get my son to look at animal books or learn his animals. For some reason this mode of learning really clicks with him. Thank you so much! We do wish the videos loaded better/ faster....100% recommend!!!

As a teacher I've been searching for apps that would make the most sense for my students to enrich their learning. This one allows for so many uses in science, language arts, and even math! What a wonderful place to see such a wide variety of animals and the added videos are such a bonus!

The company delivers a perfect strike on everything they make. My daughter isn't even two yet, but already counts to 20, figures out logic puzzles, and says over two hundred words with amazing clarity and points out things she knows everywhere we go. We've made dozens of our own flash cards for some of the other apps this company makes and she knows how to say nearly everything we've been able to take a picture of. These people have fantastic apps and best of all they're either free or $.99...we have no complaints and show them off to everyone one we know. If you got any of their apps for free be sure to take two seconds to give them a positive review. Thank you from a very proud and appreciative father! 😃

Great animal pictures. Voice used to label the pictures was also good ..not robotic sounding like some apps.

The pictures are awesome... This app is really nice as it shows different types of animals and links it to you tube so you can see the animals in action. One problem is that they could offer different views of the animals and also a map showing where they can be found.

Beautiful pictures, very engaging, my 7year old said she just wished every animal gave some information, some just have video of the animal moving around. Overall, GREAT JOB!!!!

This app is very engaging. A young child or non-reader is able to make choices easily. The videos are varied and offer great jumping off points for discussion or description.

Very good picture quality in photos. Videos also seem like nice quality, with tasteful humor thrown in. Would like to be able to create a list of desired animals...maybe to match a book that the children are reading. Perhaps you can do this...I will have to investigate more. Worth keeping for the high quality photography.
